Board of Supervisor Meeting: May Mental Health Resolution

Marin County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services (BHRS) is spreading awareness for better mental health and well-being in our County.  The impacts of local and global events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, social and political division, racial inequity, and others, have resulted in challenges for many in our community and country.  It's no wonder many people are struggling or not quite feeling themselves.

We've created 15 different events with community-based partners around Marin County, including: Marin County Suicide Prevention Collaborative, Marin 9 to 25North Marin Community ServicesBuckelew ProgramsAmerican Foundation for Suicide PreventionNAMI-MarinOpening the WorldMarin County Youth Commission, Youth Leadership Institute, OD Free Marin and Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships.
