🎥 Video Guidelines

Marin County Youth Art and Film Showcase

Any video submissions should fall under the prompts listed on the project website as a reflection of your mental health journey, which can range from wellness to challenges, or crises and may change and shift over time. We want you to share your story reflecting messages that are hopeful and focused on what someone can do to help themselves or others and draw from your unique perspective and experience.

 

Videos should be 10 minutes or less. Feel free to make them much shorter, 15 or 30 seconds works as well!

 

Topics related to mental health or suicide can be painful, emotional, or activating. For the safety and care of all, please utilize best practices for the development of film/videos. If you have questions about the nature of your film/video, please contact Kconnors@marincounty.org

 

If your video submission contains content that could be sensitive or disturbing, please include an introductory slate that states: "The following short film contains strong references to "Insert theme here" that some viewers may find disturbing. Viewer discretion is advised.
