Reproductive Rights Being Mismanaged by Lawmakers

Students at Novato High School are discussing the importance of reproductive rights in the United States. "Over the course of one week in mid-April, four states took steps to restrict abortion access, including a near-total ban in Oklahoma and a 15-week ban in Florida. Additionally, on May 2, a Supreme Court opinion leak foreshadowed an overturning of Roe v. Wade. Quite simply, people with uteruses should have the ability to access abortion health care. This legislation and the potential for overturning Roe v. Wade is a huge and concerning step backwards for the state of reproductive justice in America."
